Isreal to issue business visas for Indian diamond traders
New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) The Joint Study Group of India and Isreal have recommended for having a Preferential Trade Agreement for deepening economic engagement between the two countries.
In his written reply to Ms N P Durga in Rajya Sabha Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh said that in the bilateral talks between Commerce and Industries Ministers during the visit of Isreal Deputy Prime Minister last year the countries had agreed to set up a Joint Study Group.
He also said that the among the issues discussed were issuance of long term visas for India's diamond traders and as a follow up of these talks, Isreal had informed India that it would issue one year business visa for Indian applicants under this category.
