Huge haul of pirated CDs seized in North East Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Police have seized more than 2,050 pirated CDs and arrested a man in this connection from North East Delhi.

Vinod Kumar, 40, was arrested from Shahdat Pur Extension, where he used to run a music store, police said today. Police recovered 1620 VCDs, 91 DVDs, 355 MP3s, one television and a VCD player from him.

During interrogation, he revealed that he used to purchase the pirated CDs from Sunday Market near Red Fort and open market.

Further investigations are in progress.
