Azad gives Rs two lakh to woman for medical treatment
Srinagar, Aug 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad gave a cheque of Rs two lakh to meet expenses on the treatment of a seriously ill woman, suffering from chronic renal failure, an official spokesman said today.
The money to Shubi Jan, a resident of Batpora village in Shopian district, was given from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
The cheque was received by her father Bashir Ahmad.
Member of Legislative Assembly from Shopian Ghulam Hassan Khan was present when the cheque was handed over to him.
