AITA talent tennis tournament in Jassowal from Sep 8

Jassowal, Ludhiana, Aug 22 (UNI) Harvest Tennis Academy will conduct AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls Under-14 and Under 18 (Singles and Doubles), at its Ludhiana unit situated in this village from September 8 to 13.

Tournament Director Simmy Saran told reporters here today that the tournament was being conducted under the umbrella of Punjab Lawn Tennis Association and All India Tennis Association.

Players from all over India would participate in this National level tournament and the Main Draw for Boys and Girls would be of 32 players of which 24 were direct entries, 4 wild cards and 4 qualifiers. The draw for doubles event would be of 16 with 14 direct entries and 2 wild cards, she said.

Ms Simmy further informed that All Main Draw matches would be the best of three sets. Qualifying Draw is open and sign-in for the Qualifying Draw is on September 7.

The qualifying round matches will be played on September 8 and 9, while the main draw matches will be played from September 10-13.
