New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Warm and humid weather conditions prevailing in Delhi over the last few days abated today with the mercury dropping to 34.9 Degree Celsius.
An overcast sky and cool Easterly winds blowing across the air in the Capital city brought some relief to people of the city from the hot and humid weather of the last few days. The maximum dropped to 34.9 Degree Celsius, from 35.6 Degree C yesterday.
Though the maximum temperature was still one degree above normal, the drop in mercury came as a tremendous relief to the people of Delhi, who have been experiencing acute humid conditions over the last couple of days.

The met office has forecast a generally cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of one or two spells of rain or thundershowers towards tonight or tomorrow.
