300,000 Tonnes of additional foodgrains for flood-hit Bihar

New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) The Centre today announced an additional allocation of 300,000 tonnes of rice and wheat to flood-hit Bihar for distribution among the affected people.

The Food Corporation of India has been directed to release 200,000 tonnes of rice and 100,000 tonness of wheat, the Media Advisor to the Prime Minister said in a statement.
