Warm, humid weather continues in Delhi, mercury rises to 35.6 Deg C
New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) Warm and humid weather conditions continued in Delhi today with the mercury rising to 35.6 Degree Celsius, two degrees above normal.
For the second day in succession, Delhiites were welcomed by a bright Sunlit sky. The maximum temperature rose from 35.4 Degree Celsius yesterday to 35.6 Degree C today.
The minimum also increased sharply to 27.5 Degree C, from 25.6 Degree C yesterday.
After light rains on Sunday, showers continued to elude the Capital city for the second day.
The met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with likelihood of thundery development in a few areas.
After a brief respite due to light rains during the weekend, hot and humid conditions retuerned to the city yesterday with the mercury rising sharply, from 31.4 degrees C on Sunday to 35.4 degrees Celsius yesterday.
