Manipur: UCM charges NSCN (IM) of harbouring criminals
Imphal, Aug 21: The United Committee Manipur has alleged that the NSCN (IM) was providing shelter to suspected criminals at its Hebron camp in Nagaland.
The UCM alleged that the NSCN (IM) was sheltering James Kuki who was suspected to be involved in the kidnapping and killing of Lungnila Elizabeth, daughter of Francis Ngajokpa former Education Minister.
The NSCN(IM) had also given refuge to some suspects allegedly involved in the killing of two children Muheni Martin and Hrinii Hubert at Manipur's Senapati district.
He alleged that the Hebron camp had become a haven for these criminals.
The UCM further alleged that a man allegedly involved in the killing of a 14-year old girl at Khatumai village, Senapati, recently was also given shelter by the NSCN(IM). The UCM appealed to the government to take appropriate actions to punish those involved in criminal activities.
