Rajeev Chandrasekhar bags P V Samy memorial award

Kozhikode, Aug 21 (UNI) Rajya Sabha Member Rajeev Chandrasekhar (Karnataka) has been chosen for this year's P V Samy Memorial Industrial and Socio-Culture Award for his invaluable contribution to the field.

Talking to newspersons here today, P V Samy Memorial Trustee P V Gangadharan said Union Minister of State for Mines T Subbirami Reddy would present the award, comprising of a memento and citation.

Mr Chandrasekhar was also the Vice President of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), he said.

Hotel Leela Venture Chairman Capt C P Krishnan Nair and Middle East-based businessman M A Yousaf Ali were the earlier recipients of the award, he added.
