Khadya Vyapar Mandal to observe strike tomorrow

Jaipur, Aug 21 (UNI) Rajasthan Khadya Padarth Vyapar Mandal will observe a day's 'shut down' tomorrow in fulfilment of their various long-standing demands.

Vyapar Sangh general secretary Babulal Gupta said the traders in 247 markets (mandis) all over Rajasthan would observe the strike tomorrow taking out a torch light procession in the evening.

He said the traders would also organise 'Satbudhi Yagya' to prevail good sense on the Governemnt on August 23.

Mr Gupta said the demands of the Vyapar Sangh includes stopage of contract farming and private markets, stopage of trading through e-choupal by MNCs, and ownership rights to shops by changing the allotment policy among other things.
