DMRC's Director (Projects and Planning) C B K Rao resigns

New Delhi, Aug 21 (UNI) DMRC's Director (Projects&Planning) C B K Rao today resigned after a long service with the Delhi Metro.

Mr Rao, the second-in-command at Delhi Metro after MD E Sreedharan and the man behind planning Metro's phase-I lines and the under-construction phase-II, resigned after nearly a decade of service.

DMRC sources said Rao, who joined the Delhi Metro in 1998, had resigned due to some personal reasons.

An ex-Indian Railways official, Rao had joined DMRC a few months after Sreedharan took charge of Delhi Metro in 1998.
