Australian Navy Chief arrives at Visakhapatnam ENC

Visakhapatnam, Aug 21 (UNI) The Chief of Royal Australian Navy Vice-Admiral Russ E Shalders accompanied by his wife Ms Judy Shalders arrived here today on a two-day visit to the Eastern Naval Command, along with a four-member delegation.

According to an ENC spokesperson, he held discussions with Eastern Naval Command flag officer commanding-in-chief Vice Admiral R P Sudhan on various issues of mutual interest.

He was also briefed on the role and functions of the ENC.

Later Admiral Shalders along with the Commander-in-chief had a harbour cruise.

He would also visit the Naval Dockyard, Kursura museum and Maritime museum during his stay, the spokesperson added.
