Tarigami for help to families of deceased MLAs/MLCs

Srinagar, Aug 20 (UNI) CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to have a compassionate view towards the families of the deceased members of both the Houses of the state Legislature.

He was speaking in the Lower House on the obituary references to sitting member G M Jan, former legislator Ali Mohammad Mir and ex- Assembly secretary Wasim Shah, who died during the current session.

Mr Tarigami appealed to Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to have a compassionate view towards the families of the deceased sitting and former members of both the Houses of the state Legislature.

PDP legislator Ghulam Hassan Khan supported his views.

The accommodation and security were some of the issues confronting the families of the deceased sitting and former legislators and members of the Legislative Council.
