Swedish national found dead in Paharganj hotel

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) A 54-year-old Swedish national was found dead at a Paharganj hotel in Central Delhi.

Mohammad Gareisha Ali, Swedish national of Tunisian origin, was found lying on his bed at Hotel Sky View in Paharganj by the police after it broke open his room door yesterday, said a police official.

He was rushed to the Lady Hardinge Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Earlier, after getting no response from the room, the hotel staff informed the police.

Ruling out any foul play after preliminary investigations, police said some medicines were found from his room which suggested he was on medication.

However, the hotel staff was being interrogated and the post-mortem report awaited.

He probably suffered from diabetes and depression, it added.
