Rohtak Rally led by tainted and hypocratic leaders: Hooda

Bhiwani, Aug 20 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today described the proposed Rohtak rally of disgrunted Congress leader Bhajan Lal and his MP son Kuldeep Bishnoi as a rally of ''dissident, tainted and hypocratic leaders'' The Chief Minister was addressing mediapersons at the PWD Rest House after taking part in a 'yuva prerna' (Youth Inspiration) rally organised by the Haryana Youth Congress Party here today to mark the 64th birth anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi here today.

To a question, the Chief Minister maintained that he ''knew well the record of those who would participate in the proposed rally at Rohtak''.

Mr Hooda said that the money spent by his goverment on development during the last two and half years was almost as much as was spent in the last 40 years put together.

The Chief Minister reiterated that works on BML Hansi Butana Multipurpose canal would be completed on time and the maximum benefit of this canal would be to this district.

He said that a sum of Rs 18 crore was being incurred on providing potable water facilities to the people of Bhiwani city and assured that after fulfilling the prescibed norms, the Government College at Bawani khera, would be made operational..

Mr Hooda also assured that a big project would be chalked out after the name of Ch Bansi Lal.

On the occasion HPCC president Mr Phool Chand Mullana, Minister of State for Tourism Mrs Kiran Choudhary, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr Dharamvir Singh, working president of HPCC Kuldeep Sharma, MLA Bawani Khera Ramkishan Fauji, Harayana Youth Congress president Sanjay Chhoker were also present.
