Police arrested two on murder charges

Vijayawada, Aug 20 (UNI) The city police today arrested two persons on charges of the murder of a 30-year-old man at railway yard here on August 17.

Talking to newspersons here, City West Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) I Vijay Kumar said the arrest had been made after the information given by the victim's mother that she suspects her son's friends K Raja and D Anand Kumar.

The culprits revealed to the police that they had a dispute with Rajesh. On August 16, they met Rajesh in his house and had taken him to the Railway upyard. Later they consued whisky, and later they killed Rajesh with an iron rod.

In another incident, police arrested a vechicle robber and seized nine two-wheelers from his possession.
