PCC urges government to provide adequate security for VKV
Itanagar, Aug 20 (UNI) Guardians of students studying at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) here today has formed a Parents-Coordination- Committee (PPC) to take care of school activities.
The decision was taken after a tradgic incident of manhandling teachers on August 11 following death of a student, run over by a school bus.
"In a joint-meeting between parents and school authority it was decided to approach the state government to provide security and urge the state education department to extend all possible helps for smooth functioning of the school", said PCC chairman T C Tok.
