NPCC to deliberate on policy on August 24

Kohima, Aug 20: Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee(NPCC) will hold its annual meeting on Friday to discuss the party's present policy and adopt a resolution on it.

According to a release issued by NPCC General Secretary Medokul Sophie here today, the meeting would be chaired by NPCC Vice-President Khriedi Theunuo, while President of the NPCC Hokheto Sumi would deliver the presidential address.

I Imkong, Leader of Opposition, Members R C Chiten Jamir, Chingwang Konyak, Neiba Ndang and MLA Takamasa Ao would also deliver on the policy of the Congress and the meeting would adopt a resolution to be conducted by NPCC Vice President Nuzota Swuro.

It may be mentioned here that Nagaland is going for the general Assembly election in January next year and all political parties, including the Congress are gearing up their activities.
