Kidwai lays the foundation of Hotel and Tourism institute

Rohtak, Aug 20 (UNI) Governor of Haryana Dr A R Kidwai today laid the foundation stone of Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management at Maharshi Dayanand University.

The Rs 539 lakh Institute project, to be constructed within a year on 5150 sq.m. area, will have spacious rooms, lecture theatre, conference hall, library and all necessary modern amenities and facilities.

At present, two professional job-oriented courses- Master of Hotel Management and Master of Tourism Management are already being held at the university.

Governor and Chancellor Dr. Kidwai also planted a sapling on the occasion of foundation stone laying ceremony.

MDU Vice Chancellor Prof R S Dhankar, Registrar Dr. S P Vats, Director Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management Prof Dalip Singh, Dean of Faculties, Heads of Departments, Universities Functionaries, Employees and Students were present on the occasion.

UNI
