Kerala to set up Conventional Energy Policy
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 20 (UNI) Kerala Sports and Youth Affairs Minister M Vijayakumar today said the state would formulate a comprehensive Conventional Energy Policy.
Inaugurating the state-level energy-day celebrations here, he said generation of energy was the identity of human development and the future of any nation depended on the proper usage of energy, a release said here.
Stating that developing countries were trying to monopolise and control the energy sources he said mass movements should be organised against such moves.
Though a lot of studies were being conducted in the energy sector, nothing could be materialised he said, and added that in the mainstream of development the expansion of energy would also be included.
