HC reserves order in Sabbarwal case
New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today reserved its order in a case against former Chief Justice of India YK Sabbarwal.
Hearing the arguments from both sides, a division bench comprising by Justice RS Sodhi and BK Chaturvedi said that they would pronounce the judgement later. The order can be considered as reserved till then, the bench said.
The case involved the media reports accusing the former CJI of using his position to promote and protect the business carried out by his family.
While Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan appeared for the respondents, Ashok Bhasin argued as amicus curiae.
