Ensure release of Punjabis detained in Sri Lanka: Khanna

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Mr Avinash Rai Khanna (BJP) today sought the Indian government's intervention in securing the early release of 12 people from Punjab who have been imprisoned in Sri Lanka.

Raising the matter during zero hour in the Lok Sabha, Mr Khanna said there was no case against the victims and as such it was necessary to help them.
