Centre should also help freedom fighters in Kerala: Manoj

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Dr K S Manoj (CPI-M) today demanded in the Lok Sabha that the Centre pay pension to the survivors of the Punnapra Vayalar struggle in Kerala.

While the Kerala government recognised them as freedom fighters, the Centre had other views towards them, he regretted, raising the issue during the zero hour.

Mr P Karunakaran (also CPI-M) associated himself on the issue.
