Carcass of three leopards found

Guwahati, Aug 20 (UNI) Three leopard carcasses were today recovered from a tea garden in Upper Assam's Jorhat district.

Official sources said the dead animals were recovered inside the Moubandha tea garden under Pulibor police station in the district.

It is suspected that the tea labourers had killed the leopards in the wake of unabated menace by the animals in and around the place.

Foresters have registered a case in this regard.
