Book on Rajasthan politics unravels many unknown facts
Jaipur, Aug 20 (UNI) Many unknown facets of intriguing politicans from the state of Rajasthan have been unravelled in a new book to be released here shortly and chances are that it will cause a stir in political circles.
The author Vijay Bhandari, a veretan journalist and former editor of Rajashan Partika narrates the political developents from first Chief Minister Heeralal Shastri to Vasundhara Raje in his book "Rajasthan ke Rajneethi Samandwad se Jathiwad ke Bhawar Me".
The 450-page book to be released by Vaani publication of Delhi unfolds some twists and turns till now unknown. About one and half dozen instances which had influenced the political developments in the state had been recorded in the book.
He gives details about various interesting facts like those about the Maharaja who threatened to kill Ironman Sardar Bhallabai Patel for the merger of his kingdom and who saved the Jodhpur king from police during the amalgamation of the princely kingdom with Rajasthan.
The book gives insights into this and many such political developments which makes it an interesting reading.
