BJP observes fast over administrative 'failures'

Puducherry, Aug 20 (UNI) Volunteers of the BJP today observed a token fast near the new bus stand here to highlight the 'failures' of the territorial administration.

Party Puducherry unit President R Visweswaran, who led the fast, alleged that the government had failed to fulfil the promises given to the people to implement various welfare measures, in the run up to the May 2006 Assembly elections.
