Woman murders brother-in-law, commits suicide

Bangalore, Aug 19 (UNI) A woman murdered her brother-in-law who attempted to rape her before committing suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan last night in the city.

Police said Anusuyamma (50) had come to visit her sister's children when Jayaram (52) attempted to outrage her modesty.

Anusuyamma threw chilly power on his face before beating him to death with an iron rod.

She then informed her parents of the incident before taking the extreme step.
