USFDA nod for Metformin Hydrochloride tablets

Chennai, Aug 19 (UNI) Under a strategic alliance between IPCA Laboratories and Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, Ohm Laboratories has received approval from US Food and Drugs Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market Metformin Hydrochloride USP tablets.

ICPA will manufacture the tablets at its new production facility at Indore, a company release here today said.

Ranbaxy will commercialise this product in the US utilsing its established marketing expertise and distribution network for the 500 mg, 800 mg and 1000 mg tablets.
