SW Monsson weak over Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 19(UNI) The South-West monsoon has been weak over Kerala and very light rainfall occurred at isolated places in the state and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the state and at an isolated places in the Union Territory during the next 48 hours, the local weather office said here.

Strong onshore wind from North-Westerly direction with speeds occasionaly reaching 45-55 kmph were likely along and off Kerala Coast and over Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours, it added.
