New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party Delhi chief Ramvir Bidhuri today called on Union Minister of state for Urban Development Ajay Maken over regularisation of unauthorised colonies.

Mr Bidhuri was accompanied by office bearers of Resident Welfare Associations of 1500 unathorised colonies. According to a press release, Mr Maken not only agreed to regularise the colonies but also stressed the need to set up basic facilities in the vicinity.

The living conditions of the people living in the areas had to be improved, he said. Survival of the capital as an enterprising society would otherwise be at stake, he added.
