Rain gives respite to Delhiites

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) The capital witnessed light rains this morning, giving the people respite from the heat and humidity.

The maximum tempreture came down to 31.4 Celsius, five degrees lower than the yesterday's 36.6. The minimum also fell two degrees to 25.7.

However, the rain did not last long and was estimated at 4.6 mm.

More rains are likely in the next few days with weathermen predicated rainfall activity over northern India.
