Nokia mobile phone's battery explodes

Raisen, MP, Aug 19 (UNI) The battery of a 'Nokia' mobile phone today burst at Begamganj, about 85 km from the district headquarters.

Electronic shop's owner Nitesh Jain said he had kept his battery for recharging but it exploded after one hour breaking the glass of the showcase.

He claimed the battery was of 'BR5C' series and not 'BL5C' series regarding which complaints were being received.

He had informed the police in this regard.
