"Midterm poll to LS may come any time now": Sushma Swaraj
Belgaum, Aug 19 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj today said that in the prevailing political scenario mid-term poll to Lok Sabha may be held any time.
Ruling out possibility of BJP forming government at the centre with the help of Leftist, she said that in case of withdrawal of support by leftist to the UPA government mid term polls are inevitable.
Addressing party workers after inaugurating "BJP at every booth", she alleged that UPA government is surrendering the Nuclear sovereignty of the country to USA by the nuclear treaty, which was earned by the previous NDA government under the leadership of Vajpayee. "We faced sanctions from America and conducted Pokharan tests," she added. She said that "the Indo-US Nuclear treaty was being opposed by the left parties and BJP, but the reasons are different. Traditionally leftist parties oppose wherever America is involved, but we are opposing because we love our country." Ms Sushama alleged that the Congress supremo has again proved that blood is thicker than the water by helping Quotrochi get released.
