Gupta new IG Human Rights, Shah to head traffic in J and K

Srinagar, Aug 19 (UNI) Inspector General of police Modernisation P L Gupta had been transferred and posted as Inspector General State Human Rights Commission while Mohammad Amin Shah will be the new Inspector General of traffic in Jammu and Kashmir.

This decision was taken by the state cabinet which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, an official spokesman said today.

He said Mr Shah, awaiting orders of posting, had been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police Traffic replacing Raja Aijaz Ali who had been transferred and posted as IGP SSG.

Mr P L Mohanty, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Doda had been transferred and posted as DIG Jammu range, Mr Ravinder Kotwal, DIG CID had been transferred and posted as DIG Administration and Trainings PHQ, Mr M A Anjum, DIG Rajouri had been transferred and posted as DIG Crime and Railways and Mr Farooq Ahmad DIG CKR had been transferred and posted as DIG Personnel Police Headquarters.

Mr Niaz Mehmood, awaiting orders of posting had been posted as DIG Railways Udhampur-Baramulla rail link, Mr A S Lone, DIG Jammu Range had been transferred and posted as DIG CKR Srinagar, Mr Gulzar Singh Salathia, DIG Armed Police Jammu had been transferred and posted as DIG Security against an available vacancy, Mr Mohammad Sulaman Salaria, Commandant 7th Bn JKAP had been transferred and posted as Incharge DIG CID Jammu in OPG and Mr Sunil Kumar Sharma SSP Crime and Railways Jammu had been transferred and posted as Incharge DIG traffic against available vacancy.

Mr Farooq Khan, SSP Rajouri had been transferred and posted as DIG Doda range, Mr K K Saini, Commandant JKAP 8th batallion had been transferred and posted as Incharge DIG Home Guards and Civil Defence against available vacancy, Mr R Manhas, SSP Udhampur had been transferred and posted as DIG Rajouri, Mr Yoginder Koul, SSP CID CI Jammu had been transferred and posted as Incharge Deputy Director (DIG) SSG Hqrs as against deputation reserve post, Mr Alok Puri SSP CID SB Jammu had been transferred and posted as I/C DIG Udhampur, Mr Munir Ahmed Khan, SSP Crime and Railway Kashmir had been transferred and posted as I/C DIG Armed Police Jammu, Mr Abdul Qayoom Manhas AIG Personnel PHQ had been transferred and posted as Incharge DIG CID Hqrs.
