G K Moopanar remembered

Puducherry, Aug 19 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to veteran Congress leader and founder of the erstwhile Tamil Manila Congress party (TMC) G K Moopanar on his 76th birth anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Welfare Minister M Kandasamy and former Speaker M D R Ramachandran garlanded the statue of the late leader at Marappalam here to mark the occasion.
