Kohima, Aug 19 (UNI) The Angami Youth Organisation(AYO) and the Angami Students' Union(ASU) staged a protest rally for the third day today against attempt on former ASU President Medo Yokha's life allegedly by some NSCN(K) cadres on Thursday.

Both the organisations met here yesterday at the Angami Public Organisation(APO) office and discussed the situation in relation to the incident.

At a joint press statement, AYO President Kezhazer Angami and ASU President Kelhouneizo Yhome warned that the public would resort to their own course of action against the faction as deemed fit, if the latter failed to fulfill the demands of both the organisations in handing over the responsible NSCN (K) cadres by their authority by 1500 hours of August 20 next.

The AYO and ASU officials also held a meeting with the representatives of Kohima Chambers of Commerce and Industries(KCCI) yesterday and decided to relax the bandh on shops and other business establishments in Kohima from Monday for the greater interest of the public.
