AP to set up permanent photo gallery in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Aug 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Information and Public Relations Minister A Narayana Reddy today said the government would establish a permanent photo gallery in the city.
Participating in the "World Photography Day" celebrations, organised by the state Information Department here, Mr Reddy said the government would take steps to set up the photo gallery after getting permission from Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy.
Stating that the government was planning to organise a photography festival every year, he said the prize money for the best photograph would be doubled from this year.
On the occasion, the Minister presented the "Best Photography Awards" to 39 persons.
