3 policemen injured in separate incidents

Mathura, Aug 19 (UNI) Three policemen, including two sub-inspectors, were injured in two separate incidents here.

Sub-inspector Yashvant Singh Tevtiya and constable Roopam Singh were injured late last night in an attempt to resolve a dispute between two brothers in Meerpur village of Sureer area, sources today said.

In another incident in Chandanvan colony of Narhauli area today, sub-inspector R K Avasthi was wounded, while following a mini-truck.

The injured had been admitted to hospital and a hunt to nab the assailants launched.
