J'khand: XLRI begins course in insurance

Jamshedpur, Aug 18: In view of the unprecedented growth in the insurance sector, one of the country's premier B-schools, Xaiver Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, today launched the Post Graduate Programme in Management and Insurance (PGPMI).

XLRI sources here said the one-year management course would be conducted in collaboration with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company and students aspiring to make it big in the insurance industry would now get the opportunity to venture into the sector.

The course is aimed at tapping the huge opportunites avialable in the insurance sector and providing a platform for budding sales professionals to learn and grow in this sector.

All the sudents passing out of this course would be offered an assured job in the sales department of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company as executive trainees, the sources added.
