Woman, daughter killed in accident

Kancheepuram, Aug 18 (UNI) A woman and her daughter were killed on the spot when a car ran over them at Padappai near here today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the duo Kaniyammal(60) and Muniyammal(40) were crossing the road.

The bodies were shifted to Chengalpettu Government Hospital.
