Weapons' license of SP leader to be cancelled

Jaunpur, Aug 18 (UNI) The district administration has issued a notice to cancel the license of five weapons owned by former Uttar Pradesh Minister and SP MLA Shailendra Yadav Lalai and his two brothers.

Mr Lalai was Social Welfare and Housing Minister during the previous Mulayam Singh Yadav regime. After resigning from BSP, he was elected as MLA from Kuthan assembly seat on an SP ticket.

The administration has also ordered a probe into the property acquired by MLA during the SP regime.
