Rajnath wishes Manmohan a long life

Ambikapur, Chhatisgarh, Aug 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh today wished Prime Minister Manmohan Singh a ''long life'' saying that his reported remarks that opposition leaders had held 'havans' to pray for his death appeared to be out of depression.

''I don't think that anyone will do it. We don't believe that anyone could be killed with such havans,'' he told newspersons here.

Replying to questions about the 123 agreement, Mr Singh said Left parties were adopting double standards over the Indo-US nuclear agreement.

''It is unlikely that the Left parties would withdraw support to the UPA government, as these parties are now enjoying the fruits of power,'' he added.
