Rajasthan CM calls on President Pratibha Patil

New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje called on President Pratibha Patil this evening.

This was Ms Raje's first courtesy visit to the President who, before her election to the august office, was the Governor of Rajasthan.

During her 45-minute meeting with the President, the Rajasthan CM apprised her of the state's progress.

Ms Raje, who had also attended Ms Patil's swearing-in ceremony, invited her visit Rajasthan, a state government release said.
