No respite from heat and humidity in Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) There was no respite from heat and humidity in Delhi today with the mercury being recorded at 36.6 Degree Celsius, three degrees above normal.
With rains eluding the city and the Sun shining clear and bright, Delhiites continued to swelter under hot and humid weather conditions.
Even though the maximum temperature dropped slightly to 36.6 Degree Celsius, it still remained three Degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature was also recorded one degree above normal at 27.5 Degree Celsius.
The next couple of days are unlikely to see any respite for Delhiites from hot and humid weather with the weathermen predicting subdued rainfall activity over the Northwest India for the next two days.
''Rainfall activity is likely to remain subdued over Northwest India and interior peninsula during the next 48 hours,''the Met office said.
