Motorcyclist dies after being hit by Blueline bus,one injured

New Delhi, Aug 18 (UNI) A young motorcyclist was killed and the pillion rider injured after being hit by a Blueline bus on the Akshardham flyover in East Delhi this morning.

The victim Rizwan, aged 25, was hit by the bus while he was going home in Vinod Nagar (West).

The driver of bus (route no 469) plying between Ambedkarnagar and Anand Vihar, fled from the scene soon after the accident, police said.

This year, over 70 persons have been killed in accidents involving Blueline buses.
