Mobile Magic to open 4 stores in Bangalore

Mumbai, Aug 18: Mobile Magic has announced the opening of four stores in Bangalore as part of an initiative to expand the 10,000 crore mobile phone market of the southern region.

Plans to open 20 stores within the next six months in the city and 250 stores in the region by 2009 are also in place, stated a release.

Mobile Magic Director Mr Viviek Palod said, ''The mobile phone market in south India is fast growing especially with the entry of new players. To drive this growth further we are trying to expand beyond Bangalore and cater to other southern markets.'' Mobile Magic is India's biggest and first franchisee chain of mobile boutiques with 60 Mobile Magic showrooms in Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh.

Mobile Magic aims to introduce 1000 stores across the country by 2010.
