Sharad Yadav criticises Indo-US Nuke deal
Chennai, Aug 18: Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav today described the Indo-US Nuclear deal as the ''worst agreement''.
''It is the worst agreement signed in the 60-year-old history of Independent India. That's why we oppose it,'' he told newspersons on his arrival at the airport here.
He welcomed the opposition to the deal from the Left parties, who were providing outside support to the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre.
Later, Mr Yadav left for Vellore to participate in a meeting organised by his party.
