HP pavilion draws crowds at Travel and Tourism Fair
Shimla, Aug 18 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh is participating in India's biggest travel show known as Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF), which began in Kolkata today.
Mrs Ambika Soni, Union Tourism Minister inaugurated the three-day fair in Netaji Indoor Stadium.
More than 200 travel agents and hoteliers from various countries are representing in this fair. As many as 24 states of India are participating in this fair by setting up stalls to show their important destinations.
A large number of domestic and foreign tourists are visiting the Himachal Pavilion and taking keen interest in important places of the state and many have made advance booking on the spot for Dussehra festival to be held in the month of October.
The Himachal Pradesh Department of Tourism and Tourism Development Corporation, along with 24 travel agents and hoteliers, was making efforts to attracting Bengali tourists besides giving them discount on advance booking.
UNI
