High Court asks police to protect couple in J&K

Jammu, Aug 18 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir High Court today directed the police to provide proper security to a newly-wed couple who tied the knot against the wishes of their families.

Justice Virender Singh, after hearing the petition of Majid Jehangir and Syed Samreena, directed the chief of state police to provide adequate security to them without any delay.
