Govt would fill up vacancies in Agriculture Dept soon: AP CM

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the State Government would take steps to fill up vacancies in the Agriculture Department soon .

Inaugurating the Telangana Agricultural Officers Association Silver Jubilee Celebrations here, Dr Reddy said, his Government had filled up 1,300 posts in the agriculture department, and the remaining vacancies would be filled up soon.

Stating that the State's total agricultural output had been increased to 170 lakh tonnes since three years, the Chief Minister, called upon the agricultural department to continue their efforts to increase the output, by offering modern techniques to the farmers.
